Iron Dominion
★★★★☆ 4.2
Iron Dominion asks you to build and defend outposts across a fractured continent, and the smart bit is how much positioning matters. Cramming everything together looks efficient until one attack rolls through your whole supply chain.
The campaign teaches you piece by piece, then hands you a sandbox where the AI opponents actually adapt. Managing resources while planning three moves ahead scratched an itch I usually only get on PC strategy games.
It leans a little on menus and there's a learning curve, but push through the first few missions and it opens up nicely. Great for players who like to sit and think.
